Effects of Migration & Climate Change on Jamaica's Coastline Mini-Doc Series

CREATIVE DIRECTION | CINEMATOGRAPHY | POST-PRODUCTION
We collaborated with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to produce a series of mini-documentaries exploring how migration and climate change intersect in Jamaica.

The first film follows Kamala Thomas and her family as they advocate for the protection of Bob Marley Beach and Jamaica’s coastline—vital to their livelihoods and community. The second highlights Paulette Coley, a fisherwoman in Old Harbour Bay, where rising sea levels and erosion threaten both the environment and local ways of life.

Together, the films underline IOM's critical message: populations exposed to climate change need support to remain in their communities, and building awareness and resilience is essential so that migration is a choice, not a necessity.
