HUMAN IMPACT STORIES IN JAMAICA

International Trade Centre

 CREATIVE DIRECTION | CINEMATOGRAPHY | POST-PRODUCTION

We partnered with the International Trade Centre (ITC) to produce human-interest mini-documentaries and photos highlighting Jamaican changemakers. Featuring BabyLove’s Ice Cream, Alligator Head Foundation, and Pure Chocolate Company, the series explores how value addition, small business growth, and youth employment intersect with sustainability, climate resilience, and the future of small island states (SIDS).

Led by Nickie Myers, the Alligator Head Foundation is safeguarding Jamaica’s marine ecosystems while creating jobs and building community resilience. It’s a story of conservation that feeds both people and the planet.

Larry and Antanya have turned a love for local flavors into a thriving small business. BabyLove’s Ice Cream highlights how value addition to Jamaican produce can create opportunity, inspire entrepreneurship, and spark joy in the community.

Rennae and Wouter craft premium bean-to-bar chocolate rooted in Jamaica’s finest cacao. Their work shows how scaling up small businesses can add value locally while creating employment and preserving cultural identity.
